Eurostar high-speed services offer fast and seamless journeys between the UK and mainland Europe, connecting London directly with Paris, Brussels and Lille.
Connecting further afield
Eurostar serves two Railteam hubs – Lille and Brussels – so from London you can reach many major cities across Europe within four or five hours, and vice versa.
The Railteam partnership links London to the European high-speed network for the first time. In fact, London is now a high-speed destination in its own right thanks to High Speed 1, the UK’s first high-speed line leaving the Eurostar station at St Pancras International.
Tread Lightly on the environment
There are plenty of environmental benefits to travelling with Railteam, as short-haul high-speed train travel produces less CO2 than flying the same routes.
With its Tread Lightly programme, Eurostar is going further. It’s taking thousands of small steps to reduce its impact, with the aim of cutting its overall business emissions by 25% by 2015.
High-speed travel to cities across Europe
Simply put, Eurostar’s partnership with Railteam creates a truly attractive alternative to flying for UK short-haul travellers.
Together, Railteam and Eurostar are making journeys across Europe effortless and truly unforgettable.
